I do all step to number five , and setting for swip key doesn't show up. Setting for swip key doesn't pop up when I push the 123 in lower left corner of the screen

How do I activate swiftkey? I have tried: Wiped data and restore factory settings then rebooted phone. I think it was caused by: Friend didn't give me the information I would need to unlock phone.
