Samsung Galaxy has a feature that allows you to monitor your health and wellness. Using Samsung S Health, you can do all these things:

How to use S Health to Monitor your Health and Wellness

- 5Read and understand the agreement. Basically it tells you that the application helps user manage their health by capturing and tracking information and metrics. The most important thing that you must remember is that the application is not intended for diagnosis or treatment of any health-related problems. Basically it says that the application is not, and should not be an alternative to professional health services. If you agree with the terms, put a tick mark on the "Agree" box. If you do not agree to the terms, you can tap on "Previous" to exit S Health.You will be taken to S Health's terms of use.
- 6Basically it says that if you connect S Health with another third party program (like Facebook), you should be responsible for reading and examining their terms of use. If you agree with the terms, put a tick mark on the "Agree" box. In summary, it contains a disclosure that S Health's data are results of your inputs only and will only be as accurate as you accurately enter them. - 9Enter your name, birthday, gender, height, weight and your activity type. You can also add a picture by tapping on the default picture beside your name. The calories section will then be automatically adjusted based on the date entered but can be manually modified. Tap on "Start" when you are done with this step.After pressing the "Next" button, you will be taken to your profile page.

How to use the Features on S Health
The Health Board is the default screen of the S Health. It is the first thing that you see when you open the application. Health Board shows the current statistics of the day and a graph of all your data. From your Health Board, you can navigate to other sections by tapping on the current view icon (girl on a green circle).

- 7This feature is your phone's step counter. Tap on "Start" and start walking and your phone will record the number of steps you take until you tap on "Stop." Walk Mate also has a widget so you can easily view the number of steps you took using the widget. Press the "Back" key when you are done with the feature.You will now be taken to Walk Mate.

- 12Food Tracker allows you to view your food consumption and the corresponding calories. To use the feature, tap on a meal and enter the food that you ate during that meal. Food Tracker will then compute the calories of that meal and show you the remaining calories for the day. The feature also has a widget that you can put on your home screen so you can easily track of the calories you consume, and the remaining calories for the day. When you are done with Food Tracker, tap on the "Back" key.You will now be taken to Food Tracker.

- 14This displays your current environmental level based on temperature and humidity as determined by your phone's sensors. Touch the "Skip" button if you don't want to manually adjust it or tap on "Adjust Comfort Range" if you want to tweak it based on your situation. When you are done with Comfort Level, tap on the "Back" key.You will now be taken to the Comfort Level.

You can get the Walking Mate Widget by following these procedures:
- Tap on your Home button to get to your Home Screen.
- From your Home screen, tap on the Apps icon.
- From the application list, tap on the Widget tab on the upper part of the screen.
- You will now see the list of widgets; swipe your way until you will find the "Walking Mate" widget.
- Tap and hold on the Widget until you're taken to "Select Home Screen" prompt.
- Choose where you want to put your widget and then release it.
- You can now go back to your Home screen to see the Walking Mate widget on it. You can tap on the icon to Use Widgets on Samsung Galaxy S4.
