You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn off WiFi on the iPad Air 2. In order to disable WiFi on your iPad Air 2, access the control center or use the "Settings" option.
Steps

Tap on the "Settings" icon to open the "Settings" option

It's a gray box with a series of gears inside of it. This will open the "Settings" panel.

Tap the second option at the top, "WiFi"

This will open the WiFi options on the right side.

Tap on the green "WiFi" switch once

This will turn off WiFi. Now, you will see that WiFi is turned off. There is no WiFi signal icon on the upper side of your device.

For the purposes of the tutorial, the WiFi toggle is tapped again

WiFi will be turned on.

This will take you back to the home screen.

For the second method, open the control center to disable WiFi
.
This can be done by swiping up from the bottom of the device. Then, you will see a list of quick access icons, one of those is WiFi: the white circle, which is currently enabled.

This will turn off WiFi, as indicated by a short message.

You can pull the control center down or press the home button

You will go back to your home screen and begin using your device as normal.
