== Steps ==

# Once the phone has signed you in, you will be given a list of options to be checked or unchecked depending on your preference. The options include backup/restore, location, and communication. Backup allows the phone to backup data to your Google account and location services allows applications to access your location and provide you with better service. The second check box under location allows the phone to scan for WiFi networks even when WiFi is off, for improved accuracy and other purposes. The final option is communication which sends you emails about news and offers from Google Play store if checked. # Press on "Remind me later" to skip registration or press "Sign in with Google" to sign up for an HTC account.
