Set Scrolling Wallpaper on S4
By default, Samsung Galaxy S4 does not have an option to make wallpaper scrollable. If you are one of those people who are fond of a scrolling wallpaper, you may want to check on these instructions:
- 1Go to your Home Screen.
- 2Tap on the App folder icon.
- 3From the application folder, tap on Playstore icon.
- 4Tap on the Search button on the upper-right corner of the screen,
- 5Search for the keyword, "Landscape Wallpaper".
- 6Tap on the first line of the results and install it.
- 7Go to your application folder and look for Landscape Wallpaper app icon.
- 8Tap on the icon to open it.
- 9
- 10Tap on [Select image(s)]
- 11Tap the [Single Image] button.

- 13From the Gallery of images, tap on the picture that you want it set as a scrolling wallpaper.
- 14Tap on OK to confirm it.
- 15Tap on [Start Live Wallpaper] to see a preview on how the scrolling wallpaper be viewed on your phone.
- 16
- 17When you are done, press the Home button.

- Worth noting: This application is actually a live wallpaper. Thus, this runs on the background, like live wallpapers do, and consumes RAM and battery juice more than the static / normal wallpapers.
Bonus: Save battery power by using black wallpaper
Your screen takes a great chunk on your battery consumption. If you are more on "power-saving" than aesthetics, you can set your background to plain black to save more. To do it:
- 1Go to Google.
- 2Search for the keyword "Black screen".
- 3Go over the results and download a picture with plain black screen.
- 4Save the picture to your phone's gallery.
- 5Follow the procedures on setting wallpaper to your phone.
- 6Done.
