    Open Brackets

    We will scroll down to our taskbar to get started. We have Brackets pinned to the taskbar. It has a white icon with a blue border around the box. Click the icon to launch Brackets. Now let's open the Extension Manager.

    Click "File"

    It is near the top left-hand corner of the program. This opens a dropdown menu.

    Wait for the Extension Manager to load

    We do need an Internet connection to access the available extensions.

    Click the "Installed" tab

    It's the third tab, next to "Available" and "Themes", and to the left of the search bar.

    Look at what is already installed

    At the moment, we have a word counter installed. Let's remove that.

    It is the blue button at the bottom of the pop-up window. The program will remove the extension and reload automatically. Let's confirm that the extension has been removed.
