Hey guys, all month long we are going to be sharing easy weeknight dinner ideas that can all be made in a single dish because who needs more dishes in our life
?
2
Today, it is all about one-pot pasta
.
One-pot pasta has taken the internet by storm. We are not going to take credit for the idea. It is not our idea but we are very excited to share it with you if you haven't already seen it.
3
Today, we are going to show you the classic one-pot pasta, a glorious one-pot linguine that is loaded with beautiful green vegetables, and finally, a chili cheese one-pot pasta that you are going to want to stick around for
.
Trust us on this one.
4
Let's get started with our classic one-pot pasta
.
This is the one that is all over the internet right now.
5
We are getting started with a dutch oven on a stove
.
You could also do this in a large soup pot if you wanted to.
6
We are going to add the spaghetti
.
7
Then add some chopped cherry tomatoes
.
8
Add some finely sliced onions
.
9
10
It won't be pasta in the house without red pepper flakes
.
These are optional for those of you who do not love the heat.
11
Then, we have some beautiful basil
.
We're going to throw in and are going to fish it out later.
12
We are going to season this up with some salt and pepper
.
13
We are going to give this a good drizzle of olive oil
.
The oil is going to help prevent our pasta from sticking.
14
We are going to be using some vegetable broth
.
What is so cool about this recipe is that it's just really a dump and a stir.
15
We are going to put our heat on
.
16
We are going to keep a good eye on this and continue tossing it as it cooks
.
It is really important to keep this moving because it loves to sit.
17
Once all the liquid is gone, your pasta is ready to serve
.
It is so simple and gets cooked in less than 15 minutes.
18
You could totally add some Italian sausage if you want to
.
Some fresh baby spinach would be really great. The "pastabilities" are really endless.
