# The options are 3/1 second, 5/1 second, 10/1 second, 10/2 seconds, 30/1 second (which is the default selection), 30/2 seconds, and 30/3 seconds. These options are all quite different, they all offer you something interesting. Bursts are used to capture action shots or specifically action, nature and other shots that involve a lot of movement. 3 photos in 1 second is a good way of capturing multiple photos of one piece of the action. Therefore, if one photo is bad you have more opportunity that the other photos will give you some good footage. For example, if you went to a National Park in Iceland to see the Northern Lights and some geysers but maybe you only have one opportunity, if you take a burst of photos, this will allow you to have some pictures that could be good rather than waiting a long time to take one photo of the geyser while looking at it and being very disappointed. The bad photos you can discard. 30 photos in one second or three seconds is a good way to take a lot of photos of the fast action that happens very quickly. For example, if you were taking a selfie of you diving into the water, which in total could only last one or two seconds, this selection would allow you to take a lot of photos of this short period of time.
