Hi, welcome to VisiHow. I'm Spencer Fitzgerald and I will be teaching you how to manual. A manual is when you balance on your back trucks and your front trucks do not touch the ground.

    When doing a manual, use your arms to even out your weight

    Use your back foot and push down onto the tail so your front trucks do not touch the ground
    .
    It's fairly easy to get the hang of. Practice on flat ground between parking lot spaces.

    Once you get the hang of that, throw in an ollie and do it
    .
    Once you ollie, lean back on the tail so only the back trucks will land onto the ground.

    To do an ollie, lean back into the tail, use your arms to even out the weight then balance through the manual pad and roll out
    .
    Try ollies onto a manual pad, a curb, ledges and all sorts of things.
