Keep your feet warm in freezing skiing conditions
Edited by Doug Collins, Eng
Introduction
Hello VisiHow.com Today I'm going to show you how to keep your feet warm even in the coldest skiing conditions.
Steps
1
Today it's -28 and I've got my nice warm socks here that I've picked up from the snowboard shop
.
Although they're very thick, they're still not warm enough.
2
At -28 my toes go numb, you can't feel anything, and it's really miserable skiing
.
So I've developed this technique.
3
What I have here are just some summer socks
.
4
I put on toe warmers on the on the small, thin summer socks - they have to be thin so the heat can get into your feet.
5
I put the warmers on sideways
.
6
Don't put them on the way it looks like it you should because then your pinkie toe won't be getting any heat
.
7
Put them up front enough so that just go over the top a little bit
8
So that when you put your sock on, it doesn't pull the warmer off your toes
.
9
Now put on your warm winter socks
.
Be careful not to pull the warmer off your feet.
10
Now you can see I've got nice warm heat going right on top of my toes, and I am ready to ski in -28 degree weather
.
Thanks for watching and reading, and we'll see you on VisiHow.com!
