Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S3 uses a microSIM card, whereas the new Apple iPhone 6 uses a nanoSIM card. This means that you will not be able to use your old SIM card in your new phone, unless you cut it down to the exact size. Even then, you risk breaking the SIM card and as a result losing your contacts data. You can, of course, manually enter each of your contacts into your new iPhone by looking through your Galaxy S3's Contacts application, but that takes a lot of time. You can also follow these instructions to import your SIM cards contacts to your Samsung Galaxy S3 so you can use an app to share the contacts between your old and new phones:

#Turn your phone off.
#Put your SIM card into your Samsung Galaxy S3.
#Turn your phone on. 
#Open your phone's Contacts application.
#Press the Menu key, located in the lower left-hand corner of your phone.
#Tap Import/Export contacts from SIM.
#Tap Import and follow the onscreen instructions.
#Once the contacts have been imported, download the Copy My Data application on both your devices.
