To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated we'll see the Lock screen

To unlock the phone swipe the screen upwards.

Once the phone has been unlocked we'll see the Home screen

At the bottom we will see some icons.

We now need to use one of these icons to open up the Applications folder

To do that, we need the icon located at the bottom of the Home screen in the middle. We can see that there is a grid made up of white dots.

Press down on this icon and it will open up our "Apps" folder

In this folder we need to find the "Photos" application
.
We can see that there is an icon of a shape made up of different colors. Underneath, it says the word "Photos". The "Photos" application may be in a different position in this folder. Therefore, we will need to locate it and then press down on the icon.

In this tutorial, we want to show how to add a filter to a photo

Therefore, we need to find a photo. We can choose any photo. It doesn't matter which one. We can just find one we like and press down on it to enter that photo.

We can look at them and see how they work just by pressing down on one of them. "Ariel" is one we can try.

We can see when we press down on the different filters, there's a subtle difference in colors and style

Once we have chosen a filter that we like, we can see that there is a very small blue circle underneath the filter list

There's actually a scale at the bottom
.
If we press down on that little circle, then move it left or right, we can see the image change very slightly. It's not the most dramatic, but it is just slightly going to change the darkness and the brightness.

Once we've located a position that we're happy with, we can let go of the little blue circle

It should then be in a different position.

Once we're happy with the work we've done, we can press down on the word "SAVE", located at the top of the screen
