Erase Every Other Row in the GIMP App

You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to erase every other row in GIMP in Windows 7.
It's in the horizontal menu along the top of the window.
Move the cursor to "Distorts" in the menu
"Distorts" should be near the top, since the list is in alphabetical order.
Then, click "Erase Every Other Row..." in the menu that appears
A dialogue box will appear so you can specify exactly how you would like the effect to look.
Click the "Rows/cols" drop-down menu
Then, you can click either "Rows" or "Columns".
Click the "Even/odd" drop-down menu
Then, you can click "Even" or "Odd" to erase even- or odd- numbered rows or columns.
Finally, you can click the "Erase/Fill" drop-down menu
Then, you can click "Erase" or "Fill with BG" to erase rows or columns or fill rows or columns with a background.
Once you are satisfied with your settings, click "OK" to apply the changes to your image
This effect may take some time to apply since there is quite a lot of information to process.
