Hi! You're watching VisiHow! This is a tutorial on how to enable frame skipping for better performance in the ePSXe PlayStation 1 emulator.
Steps
1
We start off by unlocking the phone
.
To unlock it, we have to press the Lock button on the right side of the phone.
2
3
Once the screen is unlocked, we need to locate the emulator
.
In this case, it's in the "Emulators" folder; so the folder is tapped.
4
We tap the ePSXe emulator
.
5
Once it's open, we need to tap "Preferences"
.
We will notice that "CPU Frameskip" is "Disabled", which means that the emulator draws all of the frames. This can lead to slower game play in some games. For example, Tekken 3.
6
To change the frame skipping preference, we need to tap "CPU Frameskip"
.
7
We have two options. One is "Enabled". The other is "Enabled for high-resolution". Depending on your other settings, choose the right one that you need.
8
For example, in this case, we are going to set it to "Enabled" by tapping "Enabled"
.
9
To save the settings, we need to tap the Back button in the lower-left corner of the phone
.
We tap it. The preferences will be saved.
This concludes the tutorial on how to enable frame skipping for better performance in the ePSXe PlayStation 1 emulator on the Huawei G700. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comment section below.
