You're watching VisiHow. In this video tutorial, we are going to review "Show shortcut" in "Accessibility" on the Samsung Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).
Steps
1
We tap and swipe down the screen from the top of the home screen
.
We will access the notification panel.
2
In the top right-hand corner, we will find the gear- or wheel-shaped icon
.
The icon stands for Settings. We tap it once to access Settings.
3
Now that we are in Settings, we must tap on "Device" once
.
In "Device", we are looking for "Accessibility" in the left-hand panel. "Accessibility" is under "Personalization".
4
We tap "Accessibility" once
.
5
In "Accessibility", we look for "Show shortcut" in the first section
.
The "Show shortcut" option reads: "To view accessibility settings under device options, press and hold the power key."
6
Now that we are in "Show shortcut", we can check "Accessibility" and "TalkBack" mode. We check both boxes so that the shortcut modes are enabled. When we press the power key, we will be able to access options more quickly.
7
We tap "Apply" to continue
.
8
Let us press the power button in order to view the shortcuts
.
We will see "Device options". We have "Restart", "Airplane mode", "Power off", and our new "Accessibility" shortcuts: "Accessibility" and "TalkBack" (which is currently disabled).
