# In order to turn off, or disable, the hotspot on your Galaxy S6, swipe down from the top of the screen. This will open up the notification panel. # Alternatively, the quickest and the easiest way is to tap the "WiFi" icon. A single tap on the "WiFi" icon will bring up a menu informing you that if you turn on WiFi, you will turn off the mobile hotspot.
