You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to disable status messages in the VisualBoyAdvance emulator.
To begin, open the VisualBoyAdvance emulator
I have an icon for the emulator on my desktop, but you may have the program saved in a different location.
First, I will demonstrate what a status message looks like
Once the emulator is open, click "File" in the menu at the top of the screen.
In the drop down menu, click "Open" to open up a game
For this tutorial, I will open "Pokemon".
When the game is loading, you can see "Loaded battery" in red text at the lower left corner of the window
"Loaded battery" is a status message.
To remove status messages for the game, click "Options" in the menu at the top of the screen
In the drop down menu, click "Emulator"
In the expanded menu, click to place a check next to "Disable status messages"
Now, when we close and reopen the game, the status message will not appear in the lower left corner of the window
