Steps

From the home screen, tap on the Photos application

You will get the list of all of your photos.

You can tap on the photos from "Collections" or any other section

Let's choose one by tapping on it

Now, tap on "Edit" on the top-right

Tap the second icon from the left, the "Crop" function

This will read "Live Photo will be turned off and edits will apply to the still photo only."

Choose an angle for the photo by tapping and dragging the bottom icon with degrees

Then, you can crop the image by tapping and dragging any corner

In this video, the person is cropped out of the background.

Once you're satisfied with cropping, you can also reposition the cropping frame by tapping and dragging the highlighted part of the photo

Make sure that the photo is aligned properly by checking the grid lines

If you like the way the image looks, then just tap on "Done"

It is in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. The photo has been cropped.
