You're watching VisiHow. In this video tutorial, we are going to review clearing cache and data for applications in "Application manager" on the Samsung Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).
We tap and swipe down the screen from the top of the home screen
We will bring down the notification panel.
In the top right-hand corner, we will find the gear- or wheel-shaped Settings icon
We tap it once.
Once we are in Settings, we need to tap on the "General" menu
We need to look for "Application manager" in the left-hand panel. "Application manager" is the third option in "Device manager".
We tap "Application manager" once
This should be a particular application for which we need to delete cache or clear data. For example, we can tap "Bad Piggies" to clear its data and cache.
In "Storage", the second option is "Clear data". Clearing data will erase all of the data that we made progress on in the application. Clearing cache will delete cache-stored data in the application.
If we want to continue and clear cache, we tap "Clear cache"
The value will return to 0 bytes.
If we would like to clear data of the application, we tap "Clear data"
The application can be a game or any other type of application. The data will be erased.
