Steps

We tap and swipe down the screen from the top of the home screen

We will be able bring down the notification panel.

In the top right-hand corner, we will find a gear- or wheel-shaped icon
.
The icon stands for Settings. We tap it once to access Settings.

Once we are in Settings, we need to tap on "General"
.
We will go to the "General" menu.

In the "General" menu, we need to scroll the left-hand panel all the way down

We will find "About device".

In "About device", the first option will be "Software update".

We tap "Software update"
.
In "Software update", we can tap "Update now" or check or uncheck "Auto update".

To update now, we tap once on "Check for updates and download them"

A pop-up menu will read: "Check for software updates and download new updates? You will be able to use your device during download."

We tap "OK" if we want to continue

We can tap "WiFi settings" to view different WiFi settings
.
WiFi might be needed for a continuous download and smooth installation.
