Change Filters in the VBA Emulator

Steps

To begin, open the emulator by double-clicking it

The VisualBoyAdvanced emulator is on the desktop in this video. Your shortcut may be saved in another location.

When the VisualBoyAdvance emulator opens, click "File" in the menu at the top of the window

Then, click "Open" in the drop down menu to select a game

For this tutorial, I will select "Pokemon" by double clicking it

When the game begins, you will see a clear image since we are not currently using any filters
.
In order to enable filters, click on "Options" in the menu at the top of the screen.

In the drop down menu, go to "Filter"

Then, choose from the listed filters
.
The default setting is "Normal". The other filters are "TV Mode", "2xSel", "Super 2xSel", "Super Eagle", "Pixelate", "Motion Blur", and so on. For this tutorial, I will choose "TV Mode".

After "TV Mode" has been selected, you can see that scan lines appear on the screen

Now, I will go back to the Filters list and choose "Simple 2x"

You will see once "Simple 2x" is selected, the image will change

Change the filters according to your preference, and then you can play the game.
