.
3
Then, move the cursor to "Light and Shadow"
.
4
Click on "Supernova..." in the menu that appears
.
A dialogue box will appear with a preview of your image.
5
If you cannot see the preview image, ensure that the "Preview" box inside the dialogue window is checked
.
6
You can zoom in and out of the preview by using the magnifying glass icons
.
7
You can click and drag the image or click the scrollbars and arrows to navigate the image
.

There's a cross within our image that you can click and move

This is where your "Supernova" effect point will be.
9
You can also manually type the coordinates into "X" and "Y" input boxes
.
10
If you want, you can click the measurement drop-down menu
.
Then, click the measurement unit for the coordinate system. However, it is easier to click the preview box point.
11
You can double-click the "Color" pallet
.
Then, click a color.
12
Next, you can change the "Radius" value
.
You can do that by clicking and dragging the scrollbar or by simply typing the value that you want in the box on the right.
13
You can then choose the number of "Spokes" your supernova effect will have
.
14
Then, you can change the "Random hue" value
.
15
If you are satisfied with your settings, then click "OK" to apply them to the image
.
A green bar will appear to show that the changes are being applied.
