== Steps ==
# The matte nail polish is one of the tendencies of the last year or two and is a very fashionable thing to do.  When you just apply by itself, it is quite boring, so I will be using a golden glaze to go with it. [[Image:apply_dark_matte_nail_polish_design_with_gold.mp4~canvas34_370301.jpg|center]]

# So let's start with the blue and do the foundation. For darker colors, well actually any colors of nail polish, but especially a matte nail polish that it is not shiny and does not reflect as much light, the imperfections will be especially visible. # This is a nice way to design your finger nails if you're going to a party or even a costume party.  This sort of design will match an Egyptian costume I suppose.  I has a very rich dark blue tone and it will have the gold on it as well. Or if you were wearing a wonder women costume I suppose. # Let's go for the second layer.  As you can see, the nails that are still wet look shiny and they still reflect the light and the one that has dried already is absolutely matte and looks velvet a little bit to me as well. # So let's go for a thin layer to get the deeper, richer color. It is very convenient when you don't have to check and touch your nail to see if they are dried or not, you can just look and see. [[Image:apply_dark_matte_nail_polish_design_with_gold.mp4~canvas204_707715.jpg|center]]
# When you paint your thumb because it is bigger and wider, you can dip your brush in the nail polish, make sure you take more of the nail polish then you would for a regular nail. # You could also go for a french style and just do the french line.  You could can see the french style in my different video.  I did not do a classic french, I chose to do a glittery french.  So you could search through VisiHow and take a look.  So this is what I have here.  Make sure it dries off and make sure you close your nail polish after you use it.
