Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add Firefox bookmarks to the Windows 8 start menu.
Steps
1
The first thing that we need to do is open Mozilla Firefox
.
2
Wait for Mozilla Firefox to load
.
When it loads, we need to click "Show your bookmarks". In this case, we have "VisiHow - See it. Do It." bookmarked in "Unsorted Bookmarks".
3
We can right-click and copy "VisiHow - See it
.
Do it.".
4
Alternatively, we simply go to the web page and copy the address from the address bar
.
5
Now, we need to right-click an empty space on the desktop
.
Then, we click "Shortcut" in "New".
6
Now, we need to click "Browse..."
7
Locate the Firefox executable file
.
In this case, it's on the local disk "C": "Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe". We need to select "firefox.exe" and then click "OK".
8
We click the "Type the location of the item:" input field
.
After the address, we press space and then right-click the typing cursor position to paste the VisiHow main-page address.
9
Then, we need to click "Next" and name the shortcut
.
10
Let's name it "VisiHow" and then click "Finish"
.
11
Once we click "Finish", we need to right-click the icon, and select "Pin to Start"
.
12
Now, if we go to the start menu, we will see a new icon appear
.
If we click it, it will take us to the main page of VisiHow.
This concludes our tutorial on how to add Firefox bookmarks to the Windows 8 start menu. Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
