You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add a web-page shortcut to the home screen of the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge.
To begin, your phone needs to be unlocked
You should be on the home screen.
To reach the home screen, you can press the home button
The button is at the bottom of the phone.
Once you're on the home screen, you need to find a web browser
In this case, we'll use Google Chrome.
One tap on Google Chrome will launch the Google Chrome web browser. In this video, the default page in the browser is https://visihow.com
To create a shortcut on the home screen, tap on the three dots in the upper-right corner
This will open a menu. In this menu, we are looking for the "Add to Home screen" option.
Tap on "Add to Home screen"
This will give you a message that will let you know that you can add your page to the home screen.
If you want, you can change the text a little by simply tapping it
Then, you can change it.
If you're satisfied with any changes you've made, you can simply tap on "ADD"
This will add a shortcut to the home page as indicated by the pop-up message.
Then, press the home button one time
Pressing the home button will take you to the home page. You will see that you will have a shortcut. In this video, the shortcut is labeled "VisiHow - See it. Do it".
