As a start, press the lock screen button, on the right side of your phone

That will open up the lock screen

You need to swipe across the screen, or otherwise enter a pin, pass-code, fingerprint, or other method for unlocking that you may have set up

Once you've done this, you should be on your home screen

From the home screen, if you are running a stock installation, of the Android operating system, as provided by Samsung as I am, then you should go down and tap once on the Apps icon

This will open up your applications folder

Tap on the S Planner Icon one time, which looks like a calendar

That will open up S Planner

Once S Planner is opened, you will see today's date, and you will see a number of other options, at the top of the screen

First we have the multi-lines menu.

Tapping on the series of lines menu, this will give you an additional information, and can open the S Planner as a complete Year, or complete Month, or a week, or a day, or the Agenda

There is also the Today, when tapping on Today, this will show you the current day marked in blue

We have the plus icon, which is what you will be using to add events

Tap on the three Dots, it will open up the option for you to go to a particular event, Delete the event, Search for event, look at other Calendars, Sync events, or Settings
.

For our purposes, what we are going to explain, is how to add an event for today.Press this plus button one time

Tap on Add event, will allow you to choose between adding an event or adding a Task

Tap one time on My Calendar, will allow you to choose, My Calendar, the Samsung Calendar, My Google Calendar, or my Mavenlink account Calendar

It is important to know that My Calendar is required to Sync with S Planner application, Google Calendar events, don't always Sync or function properly, we have also discussed that on another video.We have My Calendar selected

We will enter in the title of our event such as Hi, location is going to be here.Alternatively, you can tap on the location setting

You can repeat the event, if you would like to, to One-time event, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly

Now, when your event is set, you simply tap on Save
