Write a Community Post in the MyFitnessPal app on iPhone 6

Steps

    To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone. Alternatively, press the big round button at the bottom of the phone called the home button.

    Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe right to unlock the phone. Enter the passcode or press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.

    Look for the "MyFitnessPal" app, which, in this case, is in the "Useful" folder. It is a blue icon with a white silhouette of someone jumping, and in the left-hand corner there is a little dumbell symbol. Tap it once to open the application.

    It will automatically open to the homepage, where you can see the calories for the day, the option to "Get Connected", blog posts and news feed posts as well.

    In the bottom right-hand corner, tap "More" with the 3 horizontal dots. This will bring up the menu.

    Find "Community" which is indicated by the speech bubble on the left-hand side in grey. Tap it once to open up the Community. It may take some time to load because it is a forum.

    Here, there are the topics of the forum, click through the posts and read them if you want. It will load and then open.

    At the top, there is a grey bar with 5 options; tap on the last option, the light grey pencil, to make a new post.

    The first option is to select a category; select a category then press "Done" when you are done. Choose from the main categories that are on the forum. In this example, it is "Motivation and Support".

    Tap on the text box under "Discussion Title" to enter a title. In this example, it is "How to get motivated".

    Tap on the text box below to type whatever you'd like. For this example, it is "how?!". You will want to write something more in-depth than that. Press "Done".

    Press "Post Discussion" in the blue box to post it, or press "Cancel" to go back and not save anything.

    As you can see, it has posted successfully. Other people can reply, and you can reply to other people by tapping the text box under "Reply".

    To go back, tap the back arrow in the top left corner.

    Press the house icon in the bottom left corner that says "Home" and you will be back on the home page where you began.
