Airdroid is an amazing application! It allows you to wirelessly manage your Android device using your computer. You do not even need to have your devices connected on the same network. As long as your Android phone and the computer are connected to the phone, you can do tasks on your phone using your PC. It does not matter if you are in the office and your phone is at home, Airdroid will help you remotely send and receive text messages; install, uninstall and backup applications; move files between your computer and Android device; play media files sourced from your mobile device to your PC; monitor call logs and contacts; take screenshot; locate your phone; and many other functions.

Install Airdroid on Your Device
To install Airdroid on your Android device, follow these procedures:

On your Home screen, tap on the "Apps" icon to open the Application list or Application menu

From the Application list, look for "Play Store" and tap on the application to open it
.

On Play Store, search for "Airdroid"
.

Tap on the first "Airdroid" result
.

Tap on the "Download" button and the application will download
.
After the completion of the download, Airdroid will automatically install onto your device. Allow the requested permissions to complete the installation process.

You are done with installing Airdroid on your device

Setup Airdroid on Your Android Device for Remote Access
If your devices are connected to the same WiFi connection, you can proceed with the next section. If both of your devices are not on the same local connection, you need to allow remote access on your phone or Tablet to be able to manage it using the web browser. To do that:

On your Home screen, tap on the "Apps" icon to open the Application list or Application menu

From the Application list, look for "Airdroid", and tap on the application to open it
.

On Airdroid, tap on the "More" button on the upper-right part of the screen
.

You will now go to the login screen and will be asked for you registered email address and password
.
If you have not registered yet, tap on "Register". Fill in your email address, password, and a nickname. Follow the on-screen instructions and verify the registration to your email account.

After registration, enter your email address and password in the appropriate tabs

Tap on "Sign In" associate the email address with your device.

You will be asked to enable additional protection on your device

For now, tap on "Later" to continue.

You will now see that your mobile device has finished with Airdroid setup

The nickname used during registration will also show.

You are done setting up Airdroid on your device

Manage Your Android Device Using Airdroid
Once everything has been setup, you can now use Airdroid to manage files and commands on your Android phone or Tablet. To do that, follow these:

On your computer or Laptop, open your internet browser and go to
AIRDROID.

Sign in to Airdroid using your registered email address and password
.

Send And Receive Text Message Using Airdroid by clicking on the "Messages" icon and use the messaging feature just like how you use it on your device
.

Install, uninstall and backup application using Airdroid by clicking on the "Apps" icon
.

Transfer copy, paste and delete files and photos using Airdroid by clicking on the "Files" and "Photos" icons
.

Transfer music and video files and even play them wireless from your phone to your computer by clicking the Music or Video icons

Add, edit, delete contacts and logs from your Android device to your computer by clicking on Contacts and Call Logs icons

Take screenshots and photos from your Android device on your computer by clicking on the Camera and Screenshot icons
.

Locate your device using the internet by clicking on the Find Phone icon

View your device's memory details by clicking on the Detail button on the upper-right part of your computer's screen
