The greatest commission for the Christians is to win souls. Many Christians just pray and expect that Christ will bring harvesters into His harvest. Praying is not enough to bring people to church. Prayers are just a preparation for the great task. In the Bible, Romans 10:14-15, Apostle Paul asks, 'How will they know unless they are told....'

The first thing in Winning Souls for Christ is to pray

Prayer in this context has three levels.

  • Praying for those you know are not born again.
  • Praying for those you do not know.
  • Praying for those are born again but are not comfortable with where they fellowship.

Use specific prayer requests to God

    Request through prayer to stop every stronghold barricading the person not to receive Christ.

    Mention the obstacles that you know about that person in prayers that may stop him or her from receiving Christ.

    Refuse every desire of the enemy to stop the person from receiving salvation and many other prayer points.

    While praying for those that you do not know, ask the Holy spirit to direct you to them.

Praying for those who are born again
