My dogs have tapeworm, I have been giving shredded carrots, raw pepitas (not sure I'm giving them enough) and sometimes shredded coconut

Melt coconut oil and toss their food in the coconut oil. You can use some garlic but only a small bit as it can be toxic to pets in large doses. Cut wheat out of their diet for a while. You can use raw meat or cooked to supplement their diet as well as fresh or cooked vegetables. Avoid the wheat based pet foods. Some natural dog foods are gluten free.

I am suffering from hunger pangs more often than normal, is it because of tapeworms?

Parasites can be found in water, meats including chicken, fish and even raw vegetables that are not cleaned properly. This does not mean that you have a parasite just because you are hungrier than usually. Your body could be experiencing a hormonal shift in Cortisol which can make us feel hungry. Try eating 6 smaller meals a day and see if you feel more satiated.
