Hi there, its about wiping my S3?

I have just upgraded to a Note4 and got all my contacts, emails, etc onto it and all working well. I now want to wipe my S3 so that I can give it to someone else all clean with none of my data on it but if I wipe it will that also delete all my stuff in Google account etc? Thanks

Your Google account will be left unchanged. However, you will need to format the SD card before you hard-reset the phone (if you plan to leave the SD card with the phone). To format your SD card follow the steps below.

We have a friend who has passed away. We are trying to get numbers to let friends and relatives know about the funeral?

Kies does not back-up and I have seen lots of chat that it's crap?

In the steps for Hard reset, it says you should perform a back-up using Kies and then talks about Sync, which is different to back-up. Incidentally I have not been able to get Kies to Back up my phone successfully, it just hangs when it gets to the video icon

Failed to mount cache/recovery?

Hi, I plugged my phone to charge last night and went to bed. This morning when I checked it, the Viber LED indicator was flashing. When I clicked the home button, the screen didn't turn on. I tried the lock button and nothing happened. So I removed the battery and put it back again. When I tried to turn the phone on, it got stuck on the Galaxy S3 logo screen. I tried to wipe out the cache data, but as it started, it showed some RED error messages like the "Failed to mount cache/recovery..." or "failed to mount...."

Is there ANYWAY that I can recover my phone without losing the data ?!!

Difficult to turn on after it's been switched off?

Whenever I switch it off and on the Samsung logo just blinks over and over again rather than it actually switching on. The battery also dies really quick. It tends to hang as well.
