Why can't I hear any phone calls on my Samsung Galaxy S3?

How can I fix this problem? Every time I call, I can't hear unless I put the speaker and headset on.

You should now be able to hear your phone calls. If not, your phone may still be connected to your headset through Bluetooth, which is why you can only hear your phone calls when you put your headset or speakerphone on. All of the details are in my question.. I have tried: Turning off Bluetooth. Turning the phone off and back on again. Calling a different phone other than my wife's.. I think it was caused by: I have no idea.
