When I get to the Google email I just type a random word?

When I get to that stage I put in a word and something else happens. The Samsung tablet is using a Samsung keyboard, not a Google one. I have tried: I hard reset the tablet and I connected to WiFi and now I'm at the Google verify your account stage. I think it was caused by: When I hard reset the device I shouldve wrote down the previous owners info but now that is impossible
