What it is mean when he tries to teach me to play guitar?

I met this guy a few months ago in my friend group. When we first met, he starred at me all the time and I've always caught his look, but didn't say a word to me. . Then when we met again, we made eye contact from distance, like he was standing 7 feet away from me. He smiled at me and I did so. . The next times he offered his help even I didn't asked for it. We talked a lot and he asked me personal questions. That time he seemed very confident, and even when there was silence he won't go away and talk to others. . Last time we had a dinner in our friend group. We did not sit next to each other, but he liked to make eye contact and funny faces. Later he played songs on his guitar, then asked if I play. I said I don't, and asked me if I want to try. He helped me with the chords, and putted my fingers on the right places. Also he always apologising after he says something funny.. I don't know if he likes me. Either what does it mean when a guy wants to help you play the guitar. This article didn't talked about the help he can give. I have tried: I tried to look on the internet what it could mean if a guy want to help you with playing the guitar. I think it was caused by: I can misunderstood some things. I'm also afraid that he just friendly with me.
