To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

Find the Tinder icon, which is white with a red flame inside of it, and tap on it once to open the application

Tap on the gear icon in the top-left corner to open the profile settings

We should be logged in for this, and if not we can refer to the article on how to log in using Tinder on the iPhone 6. We should be at the page where we can browse our matches.

To view our profile, we will tap on our profile picture near the top

This will load up more information. We can scroll down and see our interests, as well as our age and anything else as well.

Tap and swipe left or right to scroll through the different pictures on our profile

Tap on "Edit" in the top-right corner to edit our profile

To edit the 'about you' section, tap on the white box underneath "About (name)"

On this page, we can also edit different photos (where the grey boxes are), connect to Instagram, and our gender.

Once we've typed in what we want, we'll tap on "Return" located on the keyboard

Tap on the white box underneath "Gender" to edit our gender

Select the correct gender, and tap on "Done" in the top-right corner

An orange check mark will appear next to the gender we have currently selected.
