    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards.

    Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen, and at the bottom, we will see icons

    It is one of these icons that we now need to access, as we need to open up the applications folder. To do that, we need the icon located at the bottom of the home screen in the middle. It looks like a grid made up of white dots. Press down on this icon and it will open up the applications folder.

    In this folder, find the Play Newsstand application
    .
    There is an icon of a blue piece of paper, and underneath, it says the words "Play Newsstand". Your Play Newsstand application may be in a different position in this folder, therefore, you will need to find it. Press down on the icon to enter the application.
