   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the big round button in the bottom-center of the screen, which is the home button; or the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Swipe the screen right and enter the passcode, or press your finger onto the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled

   Find the TripAdvisor application on the phone and tap it to open it

   The icon is green with an owl's face with big white eyes, glasses or binoculars. This home screen is currently personalized, so the application is in the "Travel" folder.

   On the main menu, search using the search bar, or select a location in the history, or go down and browse

   All of the orange dots are restaurants in London that match the filter

   Pinch your fingers to zoom in. At the moment, we are heading towards the Buckingham Palace. The more zoomed in, the more options there will be because when it is zoomed out, it only shows the very popular restaurants.

   The smaller dots are a bit more translucent and are appearing as it is zoomed in

   If you are feeling experimental and you know what location you are in and would like to look around, go to your location on the map to find restaurants.
