You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to view search results in the Google Maps aspect in the Google application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom
.
2
Swipe and enter the passcode or use the fingerprint scanner
.
3
Find the Google icon which is blue and white, and tap once to open the app
.
4
It automatically takes us to this page where we can search using the bar or the microphone
.
To learn how to use those, search for those videos on VisiHow. For this case, we're just going to skip through to something we've already searched for.
5
Once we're in Maps, we will sometimes see a box at the bottom if what we searched for matched a result
.
We can then tap on that box to bring up information about that particular place. We can scroll through exactly as we would in the Google Maps application.
6
The only difference is that if we tap on the blue circle with the white 'g' at the bottom, it takes us back to the Google application to search
.
We can look through and view images, view it on the map, view reviews and so on.
7
Drag the screen down to go back to the search map
.
8
Go back to the previous screen by tapping the arrow on the bottom left-hand side, or we can tap the Google 'g' in the center to go back to the main search screen where we began
.
9
This concludes the tutorial on how to view search results on the Google Maps aspect of the Google application on the iPhone 6
.
