Welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to view nutrition information in the MyFitnessPal application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
Alternatively, press the big round button at the bottom of the phone called the home button.
2
Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe right to unlock the phone
.
Enter the passcode or press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
3
Look for the "MyFitnessPal" app, which, in this case, is in the "Useful" folder
.
It is a blue icon with a white silhouette of someone jumping, and in the left-hand corner there is a little dumbbell symbol. Tap it once to open the application.
4
It will automatically open to the homepage, where you can see the calories, updates and blog posts
.
5
In the bottom right-hand corner, tap "More" with the 3 horizontal dots
.
This will bring up the menu.
6
Find "Nutrition" indicated by the grey pie chart
.
Simply tap on that to see your current nutrition.
7
It breaks down the carbohydrates, fat and protein into a pie chart and tells you how much you've had and what your goal is
.
For example, I've had too many carbohydrates today, according to this.
8
Tap "Day View" in the top middle area of the screen to change the view to Week view, or to change the date
.
9
If "Week view" is chosen, it brings up a bar chart instead of a pie chart
.
To change to Nutrients, tap "Nutrients" in the top left-hand corner.
10
This breaks down all of the nutrients over the last week, which is actually quite complicated
.
Tap on whatever one to see more information.
11
For this example, all of the polyunsaturated fat was eaten for dinner on the 20th
.
If you fill in eaten foods every day, it will show up here. Press the back arrow in the top left corner to go back.
12
Click "Calories" to view by calories
.
13
In this example, some are in the minus because no information was filled in
.
Tap the arrow in the top left corner to go back.
14
Tap on the home icon in the bottom left corner to return to the homepage
.
15
This concludes the tutorial on how to find your nutrition information in the MyFitnessPal application on the iPhone 6
.
