Welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to view your messages on the MyFitnessPal app on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
Alternatively, press the big round button at the bottom of the phone called the home button.
2
Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe right to unlock the phone
.
Enter the passcode or press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
3
Look for the "MyFitnessPal" app, which, in this case, is in the "Useful" folder
.
It is a blue icon with a white silhouette of someone jumping, and in the left-hand corner there is a little dumbell symbol. Tap it once to open the application.
4
It will automatically open to the homepage, where you can see the daily calorie count, the option to connect and some blog posts
.
5
In the bottom right-hand corner, tap "More" with the 3 horizontal dots
.
This will bring up the menu.
6
Tap on "Messages" indicated by the picture of the grey envelope on the left-hand side
.
This will open up your messages.
7
Tap "Inbox" to see received messages and "Sent" to see sent messages
.
There are currently no messages here.
8
Tap the square with a pencil inside it to compose a new message
.
9
If you're friends with the person you would like to message, type their username in the "To" section
.
Write a subject, then write the message, just like you would a normal email. When you're happy, tap the white checkmark in the right-hand corner to send, just like you would a normal email from your iPhone.
10
Tap the back arrow in the top left-hand corner to go back
.
11
Tap on the home icon in the bottom left corner to return to the homepage
.
12
This concludes the tutorial on how to view your messages in the MyFitnessPal application on the iPhone 6
.
