Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to view currently running apps on Windows 8 computers. Currently, there is only one app running, and that app is the desktop. Let's run another app.

Steps

    Click the Start Menu icon in the bottom left corner of the screen

    Click on an app to launch it

    For this example, we will click Weather.

    Go back to the desktop by clicking on the upper left corner of the screen
    .
    Now let's view all the apps that are currently running.

    Press the Windows key and the "Tab" key simultaneously

    Continue holding the Windows key until we select what we need from the list
    .
    In this case, there is only one application here, Weather. If we had multiple apps running, we could use our arrow keys to change the selection, or use the mouse to select any of them. We could also press the tab key again to select the next application. To select it, let go of the Windows button. We will be brought directly to the app.
