   To start, unlock the phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen or the lock button on the right-hand side

   Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe and enter your passcode

   Alternatively, hold your finger onto the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled. This brings us to the home screen.

   Find the Booking.com application, which has a dark blue icon with a white "B" and a small light blue circle next to it

   Tap that to open the app, which will initially take us to the search menu. The search menu will either show the default search or the search details that were last searched.

   Press "Show Hotels" in the blue bar

   In the example, we're looking at hotels in London.

   Press "Show on map" which is under the main bar at the top to view the results on the map

   Zoom in by pinching the screen with your fingers

   The map will show restaurants, hotels, and other places.

   As you can see, if you zoom back out, there's quite a lot to choose from, as indicated by the blue dots

   Some areas will have numbers where there are multiple dense dots.

   Zoom in on the street you want and more options will appear

   To find out details about something, simply tap on it and the little bed symbol will show up.

    The information will show at the top with the name, star rating and the price

    Tap "Results" in the top left corner to go back to the map

    Unfortunately, it will not go back to the exact location we were on before, so we will have to zoom in again.

    If we tap on an option and we want to close it, just tap on the map or press the grey "x" in the top right corner and look for a different one
