View All Apps from the Desktop in Windows 8

Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to view all applications from the desktop on Windows 8 computers. As we have mentioned in previous tutorials, we can go to the Start Menu and then view the list of all applications; but the same thing can be done from the desktop.

Steps

  1. 1
    Right-click on an empty space on the desktop.

    Click or hover over "New".

    Click "Shortcut".

    In the location field, type in "explorer shell:appsfolder".

    Name the shortcut. We can type any name here. For example, "all apps".
