Use the Samsung Galaxy S5 Camera
Edited by Grimm, Margiebell, Eng
Hi you are watching VisiHow and today we are going to show you how to use the camera on your Samsung Galaxy S5 phone.
Steps
1
It's very easy to get started with, you are just going to tap on the camera icon
.
2
Which is the little camera picture right here
.
If you don't have a camera icon on your desktop or you removed it, go and press your home button just to make sure you are on the home screen. If you are on the home screen, and you still don't see it, press the apps button.
3
Under the apps button, you should be able to also find your camera
.
You are just going to scroll around to find it, it's the exact same icon and we're just going to tap camera.
4
Now, we are only going to be discussing the camera settings here, as opposed to the video settings
.
You've got a front and a back camera that you can use. This little icon here which looks like a camera with two arrows. This little icon here lets you switch from front to back.
5
Now I am switched to the front, you can see that I've got a video camera on us
.
6
I can pick beauty face if I want to have beautiful faces
.
I don't, but I could pick that. Now we can switch to back, and this gives us the back of the camera. As you can see, my fingers are now showing.
7
You can set your flash setting to auto just by tapping it
.
8
You can tap your main settings from tapping the settings menu.
9
Here's your picture size, picture stabilization on or off, whether you want face detection, what your ISO setting is going to be, video size for when you are taking videos, and whether you going to save it as an HDR photo or not
.
HDR photos are actually quite good.
10
If you want to tap to take a picture, you can just tap it
.
11
You have your metering mode, you have your recording mode which you can choose there
.
Whether or not you are going to have effects or not; as you saw earlier I had my flash turned on.
12
You can put it on a timer, that's great if you have a tripod
.
13
You have remote viewfinder, I've currently got it turned off
.
If you are connected to something remotely, you can set the viewfinder there which is great. You can have your pics and videos reviewed, here's your storage location. I keep everything on my memory card, its nice and easy, you can pop the memory card out, stick it in the computer, and can download or offload very quickly.
14
And location tags, I have GPS turned off so my location tags are off as well
.
Anyways, those are your settings, notice I've changed my flash.
15
You can tap any of these settings, which picture size do I want
?
6 MB, 8 MB, 3 MB, 4MB.
16
And then you can close that by tapping back
.
17
You can quickly tap mode here
.
18
Auto mode, beauty face, shots and more, panorama, virtual tour, continuous shot, HDR
.
HDR is actually quite nice, it you are looking to get high quality images out of your camera. So I'll just click back there.
19
So to take a picture, we just press the camera button
.
20
Lets get the fingers in the picture here and we'll just hit the camera button, and there's a picture of my fingers
.
21
Notice the screen had a white outline around it
.
22
And that's it taking a picture
.
And that's it, that's all you do to set up your camera on the Samsung Galaxy S5 for taking photos or just in general, shooting shots. If you would like to take video, then you press the video button.
23
Pressing the video button switches you from camera mode to video mode, as you can see here, I'm now currently recording
.
24
I can also switch to landscape, and it will automatically rotate to landscape to allow me to record
.
25
The same thing applies for photos
.
You can press stop, or you can press pause, if I want to pause, and continue shooting, or pause and move to a different view. I hit stop.
26
And that's everything for the camera tour of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and S5 mini
.
Thanks very much for watching VisiHow, have a great day and we look forward to seeing you in our next set of videos.
