Steps

In order to proceed, you will need to make sure your device is unlocked

You should be on the home screen.

Once you are on the home screen, tap once on the applications folder in the lower right-hand corner

The applications folder icon is a grid of white squares.

You will need to find and tap the "Samsung" folder in order to find the S Translator icon
.

Locate and tap the S Translator icon on the list
.
This will launch the program. You can use this application to translate between two languages. For example, you can translate from Spanish into English or from English into Spanish. At the bottom of the screen, there are two buttons. The green button on the left reads, "Hablar", which is in Spanish. The blue button on the right reads, "Speak", which is in English.

You can change the languages by tapping on the drop-down menus with language names

You will see all of the languages available for S Translator.

Tap on the languages you'd like to use

You can tap and manually type text into the large "Enter text" box. Then, your text will be translated into the other language.

Tapping on "Translate" on the left-hand panel will lead you to the current screen

The button is highlighted in blue.

You can tap on "History"
.
This will show you the text you have previously translated.

You can tap on "Favorites"
.

You can tap on "Preset phrases"
.
This will show us phrases that already have been translated.

You can tap on "Category"
.
This will filter preset phrases for a particular situation.

Scroll through the list of categories to find one that fits you
.
For example, tap on "Sports".

You can tap on "Keyword"

This will further narrow the results you want to see.

Let's tap once on "Skiing"
.
Preset phrases that match your search results will automatically appear.

Tap on either speech icon to listen to it in either language
.
The speech icons are to the right-hand side of the phrases.

If you want to change the language of "Preset phrases", tap on the name of the language you want to change
.
This will reveal a new window.

You can scroll through this window to tap on another language
