Hello, welcome to VisiHow.com. This is going to be a tutorial on how to use the calendar on a Samsung Cricket. The Cricket comes with a built-in calendar that you can use to plan upcoming events and stuff that you might want to be reminded about.

First, let's turn on the device and head to the home screen

Then, we're going to find the circle at the bottom containing six squares

Tap on it. It takes us to the apps.

Tap on "Calender"
.
In this case, it's the third icon. It will bring up the calendar.

It will start at the current day
.
Otherwise, locate the current day. Today is the 27th, so we're going to find the 27th, which is at the end because it's a Saturday.

On the top row, it shows the days

The blue box at the end would be today.

Then on the left is the time

It starts at 12 AM and goes down to 1 AM, 2 AM, until 11 PM. Then it starts over.

We're going to set an event for 11 PM, on the 27th, which is today by pressing the plus sign in the square

Here we can choose our event

The options that it gives us are, "Event name", "Location", the date and time it starts, and what time it's starting and ending at.

We can select "All Day" if it's something like a birthday

We can choose what time zone we're in, make a description, input how many guests are coming, etc

We can select how early or how often reminders are

We can get a reminder anywhere from one minute early to 45 minutes early, to even a whole week early

We'll go ahead and name it "Test", and set the location as "My house"

For the description, we will enter "Test"

We have received a reminder at the top and it's informing us that the calendar has this date setup

Select the reminder by swiping the notification panel down.

If a reminder is set for a day before the event, it will send a notification.
