Days after Apple's iOS 7 took a beating from critics regarding flaws of its lock-screen security feature, the company responded with the new iOS 7.0.2. Other than this, the company is also taking another big step in gadget security with the new Touch ID, a biometric security system that if Apple perfects would be another first in the industry.For iPhone 5S users, here are some tricks that you can play with your hand-held:

   Main display, your wallpaper

   iOS 7 has Dynamic Wallpaper that can be easily customized to your own liking. Here's how:

    

   1. Go to Settings > Wallpaper & Brightness > Choose Wallpaper.
   2. Select Dynamic.
   3. Pick a color that you like.

   Wallpaper features 3D moving effects

   If you are bothered by this, you can simply disable Parallax to minimize the effects:

    

   1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
   2. Choose Reduce Motion. This will help you get rid of too much movements on your wallpaper as you move it around.

   The white interface of the Dynamic Wallpaper may be too simplistic for your taste so you can give this a try

   1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
   2. Choose "Invert Colors".
   3. If you are not impressed at all by this trick, you can just tell Siri "Switch Invert Colors Off" and everything will go back to normal.

    There are a few changes when it comes to SMS as well. The Edit button which used to be on the top right corner of the message view has disappeared. Deleting a message can be done by:  

    1. Holding your finger down on a message that you want to delete and a pop up menu will appear including options like "Copy" and so on.
    2. Choose more and a bunch of circles will appear on the left side.
    3. Tap on the messages you want to delete.
    4. Tap the trash icon on the bottom left corner to delete.

    Deleting mails is a bit trickier compared to SMS

    The obvious method is by means of the edit button but there is another way to do so:  

    1. Swipe the message from left to right in the mailbox view.
    2. More and Trash are the two options that will appear:  
       1. Trash to delete.
       2. More for additional options like: Reply, Forward, Flag, Mark as Read, Move to Junk and Move Message.
