In order to understand what VIP is, tap on the "VIP" label next to your character

You can see that I have "VIP 1". When the "VIP 1" window opens, you will see that your current VIP status is "(Inactive)". If you log in, you will earn 120 VIP points the next day and the following days.

Scroll up or down through the section at the bottom of this window to see the various bonuses and benefits you get with a VIP level

On this list, you can see a marching speed bonus, a stamina bonus, and building speeds with level 2.

Swipe your finger left across the screen to see what you will get with the "VIP 3" level

On level 3, instant building increases up to 9 minutes.

Swiping over again, you can see the instant building speed goes up to 11 minutes on level 4
.
These benefits will increase as you move through different VIP levels. Since the current character is at "VIP 1", it only has a 6-minute boost to building speed, and a 4% resource income.

In order to activate VIP, you just need to tap the hourglass icon underneath the VIP level at the top of the screen

A single tap on the hourglass icon will bring up the free VIP activation that you have
.
It is not recommended using options such as the "7-Day VIP" for 1,500 or the "30-Day VIP" because they are a waste of money. You're not using them for longer than 10-15 minutes of any given day most of the time.

For this tutorial, let's use the "30-Minute VIP" by tapping the button that says "Use"

After tapping "Use", you can tap on the back arrow at the upper-left corner of the game window

You will notice in the VIP window that below "VIP 1" there is a timer going down from 30 minutes. Additionally, you can see that by logging in, I will receive 240 VIP points.

Tapping the back arrow one more time will return to the game

I just received a pop up message that my troops have returned. When your troops return, tap on the "Mail" icon at the bottom of the screen.

Tap on "Resource Gathering Report" at the bottom of the mail menu

A new area will be opened where you can view your troops results. We can see that the troops found food and one fabric. For an explanation about the fabric, please view our crafting and blacksmithing guide.

If you don't want to keep the message, you can tap on the trash can icon at the bottom of your screen

Otherwise, press the back arrow. Keep in mind as you are navigating throughout the game that several operations may take a few moments.

Now that VIP status is activated, you can build a building by tapping on the stable to upgrade it

After tapping on the stable, tap on the up-arrow icon labeled "Upgrade"

On this screen, tap the brown "Upgrade" button

Above this button on the screen, you can see a small timer that shows 4 minutes and 59 seconds.

Then, if you tap the stable and "Upgrade" button again, you will see the timer on the screen now shows 11 minutes and 50 seconds
