From the home screen, tap on the Camera icon

To activate the timer function, tap the clock icon on the top

It is the second from the right. You can choose between 3 seconds ("3s") and 10 seconds ("10s"). 10 seconds might be useful if you have your phone on a tripod, and you are going to jump into the frame, for example. 3 seconds might be useful if you have a tripod, and you just want to avoid any camera shake from your tapping on the button.

Tap on "3s" or "10s"

Once you've chosen between 3 and 10 seconds, tap on the shutter release button

The button is at the bottom. You will be given a countdown. Then, the Camera application will automatically take a burst of 10 photos.

Tap on the photo icon in the lower-left corner of the screen

You will be able to see the 10 photos in Camera Roll.

To select the photo or photos you would like to use, tap on the "Select" key
