Use Teamviewer for Remote Control on Android
Edited by Jay
If you're an Android user, who uses a laptop or desktop PC for more labor intense computing such as; video or photo editing, burning DVDs/CDs, word processing, etc., being able to remotely control that laptop/desktop from your mobile device can prove extremely convenient. If you're away from your computer but need to access a file, having an app that can get that file could be a lifesaver. The application we're going to demo in this VisiHow tutorial to do just that is the highly popular, TeamViewer.
Completely free (for personal use), TeamViewer gives users full access to their computers and Android devices, so long as there is an active internet connection available on each end, and each version is the most current.
For this article, we'll be installing two versions; TeamViewer for Remote Control, TeamViewer, and TeamViewer 12 - Windows (which was the current version at the time of writing this How-to). The Android phone used was a Samsung Galaxy S8, running Android Nougat.
